Friday Finals – Finale

I am not sure if you have been following lately, but I haven’t been doing a lot of shopping . I am taking a little break from couponing for a little while. I am really overwhelmed right now with a lot of things going on in my life. I need to take a little break. My mom has been ill and in the hospital. We are working on getting her released, but at this point she needs dialysis and no one will take her as a patient. She lives in a small town that is not equipped to handle dialysis patients.  At this point she has to stay at the hospital about an hour from home to receive the necessary care.

We have enough food in our house for at least a month or two except for the necessities like milk and eggs. I will be taking a break for a little while longer to get everything in order. Would you like for me to continue Friday Finals? Please leave a comment to let me know.

I have two giveaways going on right now I would love for you to enter. One is for Perfectly Simple Nutrition Bars by Zone Perfect and the other is for Purex Plus Oxi Laundry Detergent Giveaway.

I haven’t been doing much shopping these days, but I bet you have. Stop by to leave your savings here. This may be the last Friday Finals post.

Friday Finals – Not Much Shopping

I didn’t have the chance to go and do very much shopping this week. I am here in Austin with my mom. She is in the hospital right now healing and getting better. I am so glad I am able to be here. She looks so much better and stronger , since I have come to visit.

Tom Thumb Shopping

1 Organic Whole Wheat Flour $4.69
1 Angel Soft Bath Tissue $1.00
3 Milks $1.99 – $1/1 J4U coupon

1 Organic Bananas $1.01

I used my $10 coupon from purchasing over $75 worth of food the other week. I spent $2.06 and saved $9.76 on $11.82 worth of groceries. I don’t think the dairy counted towards the $10, therefore only $9.76 counted out of the $10.

How did you do this week? I can’t way to see your savings.

Friday Finals – Little Shopping Much Savings

I did a little shopping this week, but I didn’t need to do very much. I saved way more than I spent. I went to Sprouts our Farmers Market grocery store and picked up some really awesome deals there. I just love that store. I didn’t use many coupons this week. If you need coupons you can print them from my coupon page. You can find just about any coupon out there right now. Also check out the Deals page for other great offers.

Once again I have lost my receipt for Sprouts. I usually find it a couple of days after the post, so the items that are weighed are close to what I remember them ringing up as. I spent around $15 on farmers market purchases at Sprouts this week. I saved $0.10 by bringing my own bags. I really saved a lot more, but the prices do not reflect the savings with sales.

Friday Finals – Shopping and a Bee Sting

Can you believe a bee stung me on the neck today! I was cutting the bushes to help my husband, since he has been gone all week. He is on his way home right now. Thank goodness. These long weeks are killing me. Anyway my neck hurts from that darn bee.  I have only been stung once before, so I was hoping I didn’t have any reaction. I have an EPI pen here for my daughter just in case I was going to use it if I had any problems. Little face with me in the front yard. I am so glad he didn’t get stung!

Well here is my shopping a while Hubs was gone this week. I may not do any shopping next week. I have enough for two to three weeks now. Wait until you see the savings below. I was so excited to be WAAAAAyyyy under budget and may not need to shop for another week.

Friday Finals – Under Budget Again

I didn’t do much shopping again this week. We still have a freezer full of meat, a cabinet full of food and I really just don’t need many items, but staples like milk and yogurt. Eggs seem like they have gone through the roof lately here, so any good tips where I can get eggs PLEASE let me know. My brother is raising chickens, but it is four hours away. That is a bit too far for me to go get FREE Range farm fresh eggs. I need another plan. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Friday Finals – Lots of Drugstore Savings

We had a great first week of school this week. I think we are back into our routine. I was so proud of Little Miss. She looked nice everyday. I mean to say that her socks matched her shirt and hair accessory and she wore jewelry! This is the year I don’t have to tell her to go back upstairs and change because I just don’t think what she is wearing goes together.

Today while we were making Cranberry Pumpkin Muffins, Little Face loves making up new words. The new word today was “yumlicious!” He is too funny.

It was nice to go shopping without the kids this time. I do miss them greatly, but I also really like my quite time. It helps me keep my sanity!
