I didn’t do much shopping again this week. We still have a freezer full of meat, a cabinet full of food and I really just don’t need many items, but staples like milk and yogurt. Eggs seem like they have gone through the roof lately here, so any good tips where I can get eggs PLEASE let me know. My brother is raising chickens, but it is four hours away. That is a bit too far for me to go get FREE Range farm fresh eggs. I need another plan. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I spent $18.54 and saved more than $23.20 on over $41.74 worth of groceries at Kroger this shopping trip. I had $5 in Mega savings for purchasing 10 items. I have more savings, since the bread is normally priced $3.99 a loaf and I got it for $0.99 each. The store doesn’t not count clearance items in to savings.

The guy at my CVS is so nice. I told him I had let my CVS extrabucks expire and asked if I could still use them. He said of course I could, since he knew me so well and I was always in there. My husband was out of vitamins, so I had to pick some up. The Centrum worked out cheaper than buying the CVS brand this time. Plus the vitamins came with $15 worth of coupons inside!
Altogether I spent $39.64 and saved $34.15 on $73.79
worth of products this week.
